Get to Know Vail, AZ Naturopathic Dr. John Hartman

Dr. John Hartman is a naturopathic physician and a Reiki master. He graduated from the National College of Naturopathic Medicine in Portland, Oregon and has a bachelor’s degree in anthropology from Texas A&M University. In fact, Texas A&M Press will soon be publishing his book on the Apache Chief Captain Chiquito. Dr. Hartman also has a master’s degree in theology from the University of San Francisco.

Before opening Hartman & Sun Naturopathic Clinic in Vail, AZ, Dr. Hartman worked in the emergency room of the San Carlos Apache Hospital for 21 years. His years in the emergency room made him quite comfortable with intravenous medicine, while also giving him experience working with a wide variety of patients.

Today, Dr. Hartman’s practice focuses on immune support. He utilizes treatments such as intravenous vitamins and minerals and intravenous chelation therapy to rid the body of toxic elements like lead and mercury. Dr. Hartman also teaches Reiki classes for students who are interested in becoming Reiki masters.
